In all of the countries my family has lived in and traveled to, we've collected books. After settling in Fuchu, Tokyo, in 2004 my daughter and I had our first Book Ideas event in the Momijigaoka Bunka Center in August 2006, as a way to share our books with the public. We have moved out of our permanent home since July 2015 at Momijigaoka 1-38-9 and are in the process of moving into yet another new home.
During the move Book Ideas is being held once a month at our apartment (Momijigoaka 2-8-13-605) and once a month at the Momijigaoka Bunka Center.
Book Ideas is a non-profit lending library registered with Fuchu City Office in outer Tokyo. We also hope to add a cafe in the not-too-distant future!
